As the story progresses the narratives merge. Lucy and Libby primarily tell the story from the present, and Henry fills us in on the past. The story is told from three points of view (POV) – Lucy, Henry, and Libby.

Here are my pros and cons for The Family Upstairs : I don’t really want to give any spoilers away on this one, so some of my comments below may seem a bit vague. And the four other children reported to live at Cheyne Walk were gone. Downstairs in the kitchen lay three dead bodies, all dressed in black, next to a hastily scrawled note. When they arrived, they found a healthy ten-month-old happily cooing in her crib in the bedroom.
